My Complex is the fifth album I did, but first actual full length project I released. Until this point, all of my previous releases would be considered mix tapes. This album was my foray into full lengths albums, with all production and beats coming from inside the camp. My complex was recorded, mixed and mastered entirely by L.O.D. Development. The album featured a few producers, but the lion’s share of the beats I made. I was living with Absent minded (IG @atwellmusic) in Alberta at the time, and we recorded all of the vocals for this album in the course of a weekend, with the help of Laxin. We had a studio in the basement, with a custom vocal booth a production lab. The MPC got a lot of love in these years.
(IG @blahblo.picasso) Came through with the artwork again, helping me stay in that vein of imagery that had started with A taste if what’s to come. The production on the album came from all over Canada and even featured some European flavour. With the likes of: SPK, Absent Minded (IG @atwellmusic), Hutch, eQ, and BunOne helping out with the beats. I also added contributed 8 beats to this album. The features as far as vocals and verses included: iLLvibe ( IG @iLLvibe), Absent Minded and Poizunus.
